McCartney has not only made a living but is an icon for playing by his own rules. While the #MannequinChallenge is typically performed by groups, the legendary singer stands alone by a piano as Rae Sremmurd’s hit single “Black Beatles” plays in the background.
In the 17-second video, which was uploaded to Twitter, the camera pans around the legendary Beattle as followers listen to Sway Lee and Slim Jxmmy rap, “Black Beatle, b*tch, me and Paul McCartney related…young boy livin’ like an old geezer,” while reading the caption, “Love those Black Beatles #MannequinChallenge.”

Since its inception in early October, stationary posing on social media has been the newest craze. So far, celebrities such as former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton (it hurt typing that), Ellen DeGeneres, Destiny’s Child (coming out of 2001), an in-labor Blacc Chyna, and others have participated in the trend.
Like Monica’s “So Gone” and Ghost Town DJ’ “My Boo” singles, which are featured in each artist’s respective challenge, Rae Sremmurd and Gucci Mane are benefitting from the #MannequinChallenge quite nicely. As the challenge’s primary musical backdrop, the Southern artists’ single has jumped up to No. 9 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart. In fact, its popularity skyrocketed so much that the song’s streams have increased 31% while its radio popularity has surged to 16 million airplay impressions, reports Billboard.
If you haven’t jumped on the Ear Drummers train (rae sremmurd backwards for those late to the party) yet, watch the video below.
