Issa Rae’s gone from being an awkward Black girl on an Internet series to a young adult in California who’s insecure af on an HBO hit. And after seven months of living in TV purgatory, Insecure fans can come back to life because Issa Rae just released the show’s season 2 trailer.
If you can remember the season 1 finale, then you’ll easily recall the fact that Issa and Lawrence weren’t on good terms – Lawrence found out Issa cheated; so, he slept with the cute bank teller that’s been eyeing him since the day he entered the building to open his bank account. And from the looks of things, a fairytale ending is far from sight because Issa and Lawrence are still trying to figure it all out.
Issa still has a thing for Daniel, Lawrence still doesn’t know what he wants to do with Issa, and Molly’s there to help Issa turn all the way.
