After two years away from America’s Next Top Model, Tyra Banks announced her return to the show that helped kick off this country’s obsession with reality TV last month with simple tweet that read, “I missed my ANTM baby so Mama’s back!” But now that “mama’s back,” she feels the need to warn ANTM contestant hopefuls to be weary of people pretending to represent themselves as casting agents for the show and asking money for auditions.
The super model took to Twitter to spread the word, warning show fans and aspiring models not to fall for the con. And man, did she have a lot to say.
“There are scam artists out there saying they’re the #ANTM casting director & charging ?. Person w/ “slay” in their handle is FAKE.” She continued, “There is NO COST to audition for #ANTM at all! The real and ONLY casting for #ANTM is @MichelleMockTV! She’s amazing. Has casted for us since #Cycle1. And is LEGIT!”
