Two months before the release of Kehlani’s debut album, SWEETSEXYSAVAGE, the 21-year-old Oakland-bred singer brings fans a musical “Distraction.”
To celebrate the announcement of her official LP, Kehlani tapped model Jordun Love to help her pay homage to Destiny’s Child’s colorful “Say My Name” video by creating a vibrant solo rendition of the classic multi-room visual. Both sassy and sophisticated, Atlantic Records’ latest female sensation is finally getting her moment and she’s loving every moment of it.
One day after announcing the album, Kehlani dropped her accompanying, subtlety sweet artwork with a simple caption that reads, “Thank you for believing in me.”
