Comedian and professional President Trump impersonator Anthony Atamanuik is taking his act to Comedy Central with a late-night series called The President Show. The show, which is set to air Thursday nights at 11:30 p.m., will highlight “Atamanuik’s President Trump…bypassing the mainstream media in favor and hosting a late-night show broadcast live from the Oval Office, where he doesn’t have to field questions from reporters or deal with the other trappings of his position,” reports Variety.
Congrats to the incredibly talented, @TonyAtamanuik! https://t.co/giaVusR0uO

Atamanuik, who isn’t holding back on the RTs celebrating the show’s announcement, released a statement saying, “Laughing at the President is a proud American tradition and we hope not to disappoint anyone in that department. I’d just like to thank Comedy Central for giving us this platform to speak truth to power and if we’re lucky, end up in prison!”
Comedy Central first teased its new late-night series last Thursday (Mar. 30) with two tweets explaining how The President Show will ameliorate (check the dictionary) late night TV. (Yes, we know we said “late night” a lot, but it’s an article about late night TV. See what we did there?)
“Late night TV is broken. A TOTAL DISASTER. I alone can fix it!” https://t.co/u3HObey9FO
