Repping the D and all the places he frequents in between, Big Sean gets in touch with his colorful side and let fans know how to “Bounce Back” with his latest video.
The song features collaborative production from some of hip-hop’s hottest producers including Metro Boomin, Hitmaka, Amaire Johnson, and Smash David, which allows the Detroit rapper to deliver a bass heavy hit supplemented by visuals as vibrant as Drake and his sweaters in “Hotline Bling.” In fact, Sean spits in a Drizzy-like cadence at the top of the song’s first verse.
He says, “Don’t owe nobody, owe nobody/Always on the fuckin’ job, I got no hobbies/Got the city fuckin’ with me ’cause I’m homegrown/Vibin’ out more than my phone though/Leave me ‘lone, me on my own though.”
Inspired by the classic catch phrase, Big Sean provides fans with an encouraging theme while offering a collage of images of things that can bounce back – like booties! This video may not feature turtleneck sweaters in every color, but it does highlight various views complete with vibrant filters.
