The Mannequin Challenge just keeps going and going.
As more and more people join social media’s latest challenge, people have gotten the chance to witness an array of events including the birth of Blac Chyna’s daughter, Dream Renee Kardashian, Hillary Clinton’s day with the press, Britney Spears’ recent video shoot and Destiny’s Child’s reunion on the beach. People joining the challenge bandwagon have indulged in the artistic expression, illustrating a scenario of their choice. While many have chosen to recreate fun life events, actress Simone Shepard recently decided to depict Black America’s ongoing plight with the police.

Uploaded to Instagram, the one-minute #mannequinchallenge video pays tribute to #blacklivesmatter with a slow motion scene depicting various deadly encounters between police and people of color over the past five years. The video includes images of Trayvon Martin and Philando Castille.
